Ladies, and most particularly Gentlemen,

The season of love is upon us! And with it, comes a very special time for LUSH to spread the love with one of their best limited edition collections! To celebrate the release of their 2017 limited edition Valentine’s Day collection which is online NOW and in stores on the 26th January, I’ll be sharing with you some of the items you can purchase for some special time with your loved one (or yourself, just sayin’).

Firstly, this collection speaks to me on so many levels! If you’re a fan of rose scents, or sweet and floral aromas this is the collection you need to go crazy on. I could smell this parcel coming from a mile away at the Post Office, no word of a lie!

I received 4 items from LUSH, but I also want to share with you some products that I am definitely going to purchase for myself! Brace yourselves, there’s going to be a lot of pink.

Unicorn Horn Bubble Bath Bar ($8.95)

I just had to share this one with you, I mean look how freaking gorgeous and majestic this thing is! I also had to give this one a special mention as my Sister’s world revolves around Unicorns. This product has Neroli oil, one of my favourite scents in the world – because apparently it is also meant to increase serotonin levels. So it’s a real mood lifter. Pair that with a gorgeous subtle aroma of Lavender, this will send you into a world where even Unicorns are real.

This bubble bath bar has appeared in previous Valentine’s Day collections and from what I’ve heard it is a favourite among many. I’m super excited to pick one up, or two. Or 7.

Lover Lamp Bath Bomb ($7.95)

Umm, how is that even possible. Look at how gorgeous this is! A bath bomb that spills out little red floating hearts? I’m already obsessed just from the photo! At $7.95, its such an affordable way to provide a very memorial bath. Not only that, the hearts are actually made from Fair Trade organic cocoa butter, which provide an extra level of moisturisation. Beautiful, and functional. This bath bomb exudes a citrus fragrance, made with Brazilian orange oil and vanilla absolute. Good enough to eat.

Love You, Love You Lots Soap Bar ($6.95 per 100g)*

This is something completely brand new this year, so it’s going to be an exciting addition to the collection! I love the idea of this, it comes as a massive slab which you can get cut into smaller 100g blocks (or if you’re keen, why not have all of it?). It ends up being like a jigsaw puzzle! I’m still trying to figure out which part my cut comes out from.

It’s a layered soap, and if you’re as obsessed with roses as I am – you’re going to love this because it has four different types in here! Rose oil, rose petal infusion, rose syrup and even fresh rose petals. Heaven.

Please help me figure out which part it comes from! I’m thinking the ‘V’?

Ladybird Bubble Bar ($8.95)*

Done, I am done! LUSH wins yet again! Felicia: 0, LUSH: 1,391,483

This thing. Just… nup. He is so damn cute. Just look at those eyes. I wonder if I can formalin fix him so he can be with me forever?

I am obsessed with bubble bath bars at the moment so this has come at a good time. If you’re a floral person this will hit the spot. Geranium oil features in this little baby which helps to relax your limbs and your mind, while a pinch of peppermint oil adds a bit of freshness. It’s a gorgeous, sweet floral scent with just the slightest touch of menthol. It also has very fine shimmer particles to leave your skin glowy after your bath. Plus, you can reuse it! Just run it under the tap until the desirable amount of bubbles has been reached and leave it to dry for next time.

The Kiss lip scrub ($9.95)*

I think LUSH was definitely the pioneer of the modern lip scrub, they are so well known for producing the most kick ass lip exfoliators that not only smell great, but taste fantastic! (Bubblegum, I’m looking at you). So I was super excited to try this limited edition scrub out!

This scrub combines the power of fine sea salt, caster sugar and again, Fair Trade cocoa butter for some hydration. Not only will it lift away all the dead, coarse skin on your lips but it will leave your lips with a subtle taste and a little moisture. Also featured is some almond and mandarin oil.

But the best is yet to come. I actually squealed a little when I opened the pot to find gorgeous little red edible hearts in it! LUSH wins yet again.

Obsessed! I am obsessed with this scrub and those hearts!

The Kiss Lip Gloss ($9.95)*

I’ve been a fan of LUSH lip balms for a while now because of their super hydrating formula. Fair Trade shea butter is the hero here (and also ethically and sustainably sourced from the Ojoba women’s cooperative in Ghana might I add). There is also Kalahari melon and organic jojoba oil to really add some moisture kick to your lips, perfect for pairing with The Kiss lip scrub after use. To add shine, organic illipe oil and agave syrup are also added. I’ve never heard of illipe oil, so naturally I had to do a bit of research. It’s a vegetable oil from a type of nut which can also be substituted for cocoa butter.

It’s got a very sheer, natural looking formula that adds a generous amount of shine. I usually don’t go for these type of shades but after wearing it, I felt like it really complimented my skin tone with just a hint of pinky shine. I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would!

Excuse my non-painted face and say hello to my natural skin! Wearing The Kiss Lip Gloss on its own.

There are really so many beautiful looking items being released for Valentine’s Day this year, I could really go on and on about all of them. If I was to suggest just one product to go for, it would be the lip scrub. Fun, beautiful, delicious and affordable! But below is a collage of other products that are going to be available to purchase in stores this Thursday 26th January. There are also some incredible pre-made gift sets which come so beautifully wrapped. Keep an eye out for them in store!

  1. Loved this, every time I walk by Lush I always want to take a bath right in the mall. Rose scents and lavender have to by my favorite smells since they both are just so darn clean. The one thing I’m excited to try is the lip scrub since the DC weather has been so brisk and my lips are usually dry because of that.
